Tip #8: Have a clear marketing strategy.
This is a no-brainer, it is a must have item in your 2016 to do list. A marketing plan doesn’t have to be complicated, but a marketing plan supports your sales goals. NOT the other way around. First, create your sales goal for the year – now double it (for a challenge)- that is the revenue/sales that you need to make by Dec 2016. Now create a marketing plan of alllll the outbound marketing/advertising/PR that you will put in place that will help you hit that sales goal. In the end, you should have a list of things to do on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for your marketing efforts that bring in the amount of customers to hit your sales goal.
Schedule 2-3 hours to create your marketing plan before the end of the year – it will make a huge difference in your success, revenue and happiness. I promise.
